Bay Area–based and San Diego-raised, ‘baelüt’ is an eclectic selector drawn to the kind of music that makes people move, feel, and connect. Moving through R&B, house, eclectic soul, global club sounds, and groove-heavy selections, her sets flow between the familiar and unexpected while staying rooted in warmth, rhythm, and soul. Inspired by her Filipinx roots and the diverse sounds of California, baelüt sees the dance floor as a space for connection. For her, DJing is about being present with friends or strangers and finding a shared language through music, no words necessary. What began as a creative outlet during the pandemic has evolved into an ongoing exploration of sound and community. As co-founder of SILKEN SUITS, baelüt continues to build spaces where eclectic rhythms, global influences, and genuine connection can coexist. Her growing presence behind the decks has led her to open for and share lineups with artists including Kaytranada, Rochelle Jordan, Party of Two, Sango, Austin Millz, SIDEPIECE, BLOND:ISH, Quavo, Joe Lobel, Miles Medina, Noodles, Jigitz, and Jae Murphy.
