Although the circumstances of Daddy JP’s birth remain unknown, rumors suggest his inception was nothing short of immaculate—the result of a boozed-up college student spilling a molly-spiked Four Loko onto a DDJ-400. After leaving the DJ controller in rice for 48 hours, they were shocked to discover not a set of decks, but a fully developed man emerging from the pile of grain. Endowed with the ability to create sick dance beats and spin fire mixes, it was soon realized that JP possessed a gift. Now earning support from the likes of Chris Lake, Kyle Watson, and Wax Motif, Daddy JP is becoming a household name—somewhere between Samsung and Dude Wipes. His sound is an electrifying blend of raw energy and irresistible groove, built for the late hours of the night when everyone’s a bit twitchy. When the beat hits, whether to dance isn’t even a question. Movement is the answer.
