Dïrac is a San Francisco Bay Area DJ and producer operating in a space where rolling techno unfolds over a cosmic, dreamlike frontier. A believer in the eternal intertwinement between light and dark, Dïrac’s live sets invite the audience to surrender to this notion and experience how both play their part in this unending dance of seemingly opposing forces. Drawing his name from legendary physicist Paul Dirac, Dïrac approaches his craft as a form of exploration of the universe, body, mind, and soul, operating with the understanding that the dance floor is a place where the physical world and the spirit merge into a combined essence. The result is music engineered for the body and aimed at opening the parts of the mind present in all of us that the universe would love to crack open if only we gave it the opportunity. A resident DJ with Polaris Presents, Dïrac has spent the past five years honing his sound behind the decks, bringing his distinctive style to some of San Francisco’s premier dance floors, including 1015 Folsom, Great Northern, The Midway, Audio SF, Halcyon, and more. He has also shared lineups with internationally recognized artists including Shay De Castro, Boris Brejcha, Cristoph, Klangphonics, Swimming Paul, and more, further cementing his place within the Bay Area's growing techno community. In Early 2026 Dïrac debuted his first original production with his first solo release ("Yeah", Feb. 2026) and is continuing to grow his catalog to critical acclaim from his fans and the greater local scene. As is understood through his music and his live sets, in which he combines a dark rolling techno foundation with a balance of light and ethereal moments, Dïrac’s dance floor may just leave you wondering if the night sky has always shined this brightly when it’s all said and done and it’s time to go home.
