Emanuel Deep House • Soulful House • Nu Disco San Francisco, CA / International BIO Emanuel’s journey into electronic music began in Northern California in the early ’90s, where he was immersed in the underground rave scene and developed a deep, lifelong connection to house music in all its forms. After refining his sound in the Bay Area alongside Santa Cruz roommate Miguel Migs and a tight- knit circle of DJs, he took a leap of faith in 2000— relocating to Bangkok with a one-way ticket, a backpack, and crates of vinyl. Arriving at a time when the city’s electronic scene was still emerging, Emanuel quickly stood out as one of the few foreign DJs playing deep and soulful house. He became instrumental in shaping Bangkok’s underground club culture, holding standout residencies at Tapas Room and a landmark nine-year run at Bed Supperclub, cementing his reputation as a key figure in Southeast Asia’s nightlife. Over the next decade, Emanuel shared the decks with an impressive roster of globally respected artists, including DJ Pierre, Robert Owens, Ron Carroll, Derrick Carter, Laurent Garnier, Garth, Knee Deep, Josh Ezelle RIP , Born 2 Funk among many others. His reach extended across more than 15 countries throughout Southeast Asia and beyond, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, China, South Korea, Myanmar, Bangladesh, and the Maldives. From underground clubs to beachside resorts, festivals to after-hours clubs, his sound became a defining presence across the region. Now based back in the United States, Emanuel continues to bring over three decades of global experience to dance floors worldwide. His recent appearances span cities like Mexico, London, Las Vegas, and Montana, alongside ongoing residencies in Monterey, San Jose, and Carmel. In addition Emanuel has had music on international labels and some new music set to drop in the coming year—further expanding his evolving sound and global footprint.
