Waleed ZD

📍 Los Angeles

Waleed ZD is a Palestinian DJ and producer born and raised in San Francisco and now based in Los Angeles. With nearly a decade behind the decks and years spent producing, his sound is rooted in techno, moving between peak-time, hypnotic, raw, and cosmic sounds while carrying a deep appreciation for classic Detroit and proper techno. His love for the music started on the dance floor. After discovering the rave scene and becoming obsessed with techno, DJing quickly turned into producing, and eventually into creating his own events and platform for other artists. Waleed’s sets are built around movement and progression rather than staying in one lane—moving from stripped-back, hypnotic grooves into darker, driving, high-energy territory. His Palestinian roots and Bay Area upbringing are both part of the perspective he brings into his music and the community he continues to build. Outside of his own music, Waleed is the founder of Xeta Productions, a company focused on bringing artists together, creating memorable spaces, and giving both established and emerging talent a platform to share their sound.
